South Korea Gov't to Compensate Egg Donors

The government will draw up measures to compensate people who donate their eggs for fertility treatment.
The Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs said it will issue on Monday an advance notice of a new bill on bioethics and safety.
Under the bill, eggs can be extracted up to three times per donor.
The bill also urges for the labeling of genetic information in symbols for the sake of anonymity and to put a person in charge of guarding such genetic data in a bid to prevent the leakage of private information.
