Abolition of HFEA 'won't save anything'

The government may scrap 177 publicly funded non-governmental advisory bodies, or quangos, and another 94 are under threat, according to a leaked letter.
Baroness Deech, former chairman of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), one of those quangos that faces the axe, analyses the gap the abolition of the body will leave.
