Journalist Sarah Elizabeth Richards thought she could step away from the panic of her ticking biological clock and postpone motherhood by freezing her eggs. She spent nearly $50,000, but says it was the best investment she ever made. We talk with Richards and a fertility specialist about the benefits and risks of freezing eggs, the hefty price tag and what it means for women to delay motherhood.
